GreenBiz Group

CREATIVE DIRECTION

GreenBiz Group is a media and events company that accelerates the just transition to a clean economy. Through events that galvanize, stories that amplify, peer networks that bond and industry-leading analysis, they define markets and advance opportunities at the intersection of business, technology and sustainability. As GreenBiz Group’s Creative Director, I work on a passionate team of people that builds and empowers communities to confront the threats of climate change and solve the thorniest challenges of our time.

I currently support and oversee all of GreenBiz Group’s creative needs, while managing a team talented of designers, animators, and artists. I am responsible for implementing the art direction for annual marketing campaigns, environmental design and keynote presentations for major in-person/online conference events, content for annual reports and editorial podcasts/articles, branding for media kits and investor decks, and collateral for sales and marketing. I work closely with GreenBiz Group’s executive stakeholders and collaborate with Production/AV vendors and photographers for all media production.

The State of Green Business is GreenBiz’s annual report. This year, it launched at an exciting and perilous time for companies, their stakeholders and the world in general. The report examines how business — and, indeed, humankind — is undergoing an epochal transition. It’s a labor of love from the editors and analysts at GreenBiz, along with notable teams from S&P Global, LinkedIn, and SC Johnson. I was responsible for collaborating with our internal and external contributors to art direct the visual theme, while designing the report. This is an interactive experience, where I worked closely with our Motion Graphics Designer to create article video introductions and advertising content. Above and below are a few samples of what’s inside!

Circularity is the annual conference in North America focused on accelerating the circular economy. For the 2022 event, I evolved a creative campaign (design credit to Sam Ho) that visually communicated the regenerative principles of circular design-thinking—collaging together an ecosystem of macro and micro elements that tell a story of interconnectivity.

We kicked off Circularity 22’s marketing campaign by announcing its return to an in person conference event, highlighting the vibrancy and energy of the event.

GreenFin is the premier ESG event that aligns sustainability and capital markets. For the 2022 event in NYC, I developed a creative campaign that visually communicates the connections between finance and the impacts on our planet. As this is a global event, I wanted to merge the diverse aesthetic of currency to add life and personality to the dull, basic corporate art.
