Julia Vann
SR. CREATIVE DIRECTOR, DESIGNER & ARTIST
Julia is a creative director, designer and artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. A USC Roski School of Art and Design alumni, her design-thinking mindset elevates corporate brands through visual storytelling, art direction, strategic marketing, graphic design and animation. Julia’s work most notably debuted in a short film at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC. She currently manages the creative department at a media events company in Oakland. You can also find her designs distributed throughout grocery stores on your favorite Californian beer cans.
Outside of the digital sphere, Julia's artwork is inspired by her coastal roots, where she paints the magic of nature. She has exhibited her work in The Walt Disney Family Museum, the American Museum of Ceramic Art, NYC Times Square, and the Fischer Museum of Art. When she isn't creating, you can find her with her loved ones—probably at the beach surfing or hiking.
REVIEWS
“Julia has had a major impact on Galileo, developing our new brand positioning while single-handedly expanding and modernizing the look and feel along the way of hundreds of different print and digital assets. She has been instrumental in providing consistency in our consumer assets, and creating a unified look/feel for our new product lines. On top of this, Julia is more than a designer, she is thoughtful about the content her designs support and has a strong understanding of the elements we need to focus on for digital conversion.”
— Nerissa Sardi | Vice President of Marketing, Galileo Learning
“First and foremost, Julia is an incredibly talented artist, but she also knows how to effortlessly blend her creative talents with the needs and motivations of a results-driven marketing team. I've had the pleasure of working with Julia on the Rustic Pathways Creative Team for over three years. I appreciate the inspiration she brings to the team, her can-do attitude, and her contagious smile and love for life. She's an incredible team asset at Rustic and a highly valued co-worker.”
